DMCA and Copyright Policy
How TARK Learn handles copyrighted materials, upload boundaries, and copyright complaints.
Effective May 28, 20261. Respect for Copyright
TARK Learn respects copyright and expects parents, students, admins, and content contributors to do the same. Do not upload, import, or publish material unless you own it, have permission, or have a lawful right to use it.
2. Upload Rules
- Do not upload copyrighted test banks, answer manuals, released exam collections, textbook scans, paid course materials, or school assessments unless you have permission.
- Do not ask TARK Learn or an external LLM to copy a College Board item, textbook question, worksheet, or website wording.
- Uploaded notes should be limited to the student's own study materials or materials the family is allowed to use for study.
3. Question Bank Originality
Reusable question-bank content should be original, curriculum-grounded, and reviewed through TARK Learn validation and curation workflows. If a candidate appears copied or too close to another source, it should be rejected, rewritten from abstract metadata, or escalated for review.
4. Copyright Complaints
To report material that you believe infringes your copyright, email privacy@tarklearn.com with:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- The TARK Learn location, URL, screenshot, or other information that helps us identify the material.
- Your name, organization if any, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Counter-Notice
If TARK Learn removes or disables content and you believe that was a mistake, contact us with enough detail to identify the removed material and explain why you believe you had the right to use it. We may request additional information before restoring any content.
6. Repeat Misuse
TARK Learn may limit uploads, remove content, suspend access, or reject imports when a user repeatedly uploads or imports prohibited copyrighted material.
